How ads look
Every ad is labeled "Ad," sits in a grey box that looks different from listings, and carries this line: "Ads are paid. Advertisers are not checked or endorsed by us." Ads never appear next to the Rural Verified badge and never use green.
Who can advertise
- Equipment dealers and rental yards
- Material suppliers: gravel, stone, pipe, culverts, lumber, steel, tanks
- Tools, parts, and attachment makers
- Trade schools and safety training
Not accepted
- Insurance companies, agents, and brokers
- Lenders, loan brokers, and financing companies
- Lead-selling or "pay per lead" services
- Contractors (list free or join a plan instead)
- Anything that suggests we checked or endorse the advertiser
We also take no insurance or loan referral or affiliate fees anywhere on the site.
